Mark Moore--senior minister

Mark Moore grew up on a farm in the Missouri Ozarks. After beginning his undergraduate education at Southwest Missouri State in Springfield, he transferred to Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) in Kirksville to help start a campus ministry for the Central Church of Christ. After graduation, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agri-Business in 1981, he trained as a campus Minister Intern. In 1982, he married Colleen Tuley, a student from Palmyra, Missouri. In 1984, Mark became the Campus Minister and together they continued to serve the students and church there for the next four years.
In 1988, Mark became the Preaching Minister for the church until he moved to Normal, Illinois in 1997. In 2001, he graduated with a Master of Arts in Historical Theology from Lincoln Christian Seminary. During this time he worked as an Associate Minister with Northside Church of Christ in Bloomington, Illinois.
Mark and Colleen have four grown children. Colleen has her Masters Degree in Physical Education/Teacher Education from Illinois State University and works as an Elementary Physical Education teacher for Glenn School in Normal.
Mark and Colleen enjoy hanging out with their kids and with friends, outdoor activities of all kinds, and reading.
